New Zach Stone Single, “Sorry & Lonely,” Heads to Radio
NASHVILLE) On the heels of the momentum generated through the increased visibility of Zach’s recent video for the song “Four Letter Word,” Jetpack Artist Ventures is excited to share the delivery his upcoming single release to radio as of August 27.
The song was penned by Zach and Will Stone (no relation) and takes us through the struggle of developing relationships in the wake of pain and heartbreak. The new recording highlights the first collaboration with producer Matt Billingslea, an innovative music creator and currently the driving force behind Taylor Swift as drummer on Taylor Swift’s “Reputation” Stadium Tour.
“This is really a cool direction for Zach, especially as a writer,” says manager and Jetpack CEO John Pisciotta. “We’ve been excited about his growth and talent as an artist, but when he brought in ‘Sorry and Lonely,’ it really caught us as both a next step and new direction for his music.”
The anticipation for new music is certainly heightened with the recent praise garnered for his last single release, “Four Letter Word.” Robert K. Oermann, acclaimed music critic for MusicRow Magazine, had the following to say about Zach and the song:
Stone’s voice is quite wonderful, characterized by baritone warmth, expressive phrasing and controlled volume. His songwriting is just as impressive, because this is as polished and professional and hooky as any works by country’s master tunesmiths. This Belmont alumnus is ready for the big time.
Rick Kelly with Marco Promotions, a sister company of The AristoMedia Group, will be spearheading delivery to radio. “Sorry and Lonely” is currently targeted for release in late September.
